Hey Guys,
Just wanted to show you my hair up close and personal. I had cowashed my hair followed by Kinky Curly Knot Today as the leave in. My hair was still damp in this picture, but look how happy it is? The moisture and conditioner does help my hair coil better.
Hie Kai, I love your blog. My only wish is that you blog more frequently. Your coils look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI am from South Africa and my daughter's is almost like yours :)
Hi Clara, I know I don't blog as much as I would like to. Ive been SO BUSY! But wow South Africa?!?!? Thank you for viewing my blog hunny! Hope the new year is treating you well!
DeleteHi there! I was searching for 4c moisturizing and came across your site. I am a sister-in-law to an almost 9 year old and her hair is so super dry. This past detangle we've used coconut oil and I'm hoping that works. She's growing out from relaxer by birth mom and we're soon for a trim, not so much a big chop. Just curious what's the best day to day moisturizer you've had success with? I'm working on cornrows as a protective style but mine really stink! Lol. Plus she's a little tom-boy so she's not interested in sitting too long!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica, sorry I didn't see your comment sooner! I really like kinky curly know today leave in conditioner. I also like their curling custard (both can be found at target). Another line is the Shea Moisture line (can be found at walgreens, cvs) the leave in conditioner and moisturizers are good. I also like Oyins handmade hair dew (order on her store online) as a light moisturizer. Check out curlmart dot com. The have a lot of products for super coily textured hair on there and awesome customer reviews. As far as protective styling, I twist my hair and wear wigs..my cornrows suck as well. Also check out youtube for protective styles for kids, they have lots of tutorials on there! Thanks for asking and good luck!
