Protective Style - Flat Twist Braid Hawk 4C hair

I went shopping this weekend and was experiencing some kind of euphoric high and, on a whim, decided to braid my hair...hence, I did. It came out better than I expected! I don't typically braid my entire head in flat twists, cornrows, yadda yadda.. I usually single braid so this was different for me. It was also challenging. I've never flat twisted my hair before and once I get the hang of it, I'll be doing it more often.
Before braiding my hair, I soaked it with warm water and rubbed a little bit of Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Deep Conditioner in my hair (used as leave in). Before braiding a parted section, I'd dabble a little bit of Shea Butter to seal in the moisture. Lastly, when I finished braiding my hair, I sprayed my it with Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla leave in conditioner for shine and fragrance.
Enjoy the pics!
